Who We Are
At Arisingstar German Shepherds, we are passionate about breeding healthy and well-balanced German Shepherds. Our breeding program focuses on producing dogs with strong working abilities, conformation and loving personalities.

We are active members of the Canadian Kennel Club, the German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada, and the Pictou County Kennel Club.

We strive to maintain the breed standard while emphasizing health, temperament, and intelligence in our dogs. Our puppies are raised with care and are provided with the best nutrition and socialization to ensure they grow into confident and well-adjusted adults.

All of our dogs are taught to be obedient, well-socialized members of the family. They perform well in the Conformation ring, as well as Obedience, Rally Obedience, and Draft Dog to name a few. We like to develop every aspect of their temperament and character and bring out the best of this amazing breed.

We only breed for quality, not quantity. All parents are health tested and screened prior to being used in our breeding program. Pedigrees are also researched in order to look for the best genetics to emphasize, and for breed preservation.

Our foundation dam, GCH Luckystryke's Deja Vu, was bred by Lucky Stryke Kennel. "Deja" was the Female Reserve Futurity Winner for Atlantic Region in 2023. Deja is currently working towards her Obedience title.

Our other dam, CH Mystksand Eleganza Extravaganza, is Deja's mother. "Ella" was bred by Lucky Stryke and Mystksand breeders. Ella is on a co-ownership with Lucky Stryke Kennel, and is currently working towards her Obedience Title.

Our stud dog, BISS GCH Luckystryke's Over the Mooin at Arisingstar, "Mooin", was also bred by Lucky Stryke Kennel. Mooin has achieved an awful lot in a very short time. Best of Opposite Sex and Futurity Male Winner for Atlantic Region 2024. He will be shown at the Maturity show in 2025.
